Dr. Jana Roberts, Ed.D., is the Associate Program Director and Dissertation Coordinator for the online Leadership Studies EdD program. She earned her EdD in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca ('21), an Advanced Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from Cornell University ('16), A master's degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling from Bowling Green State University ('95), and a bachelor's degree from Doane University ('92). She is also a Certified Measurement Specialist through the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University.
With nearly 30 years of experience in higher education and human resources, Dr. Roberts has held various leadership roles focused on diversity, compliance, and institutional effectiveness. Since joining the Trevecca faculty, she has taught research and leadership courses and serves as a dissertation advisor. Her research interests include leadership identity development, mentorship, and institutional effectiveness. Dr. Roberts is also actively involved with the International Leadership Association and the Association of Leadership Educators.
Dr. Roberts splits her time between Nashville and Springfield, Missouri. She and her husband, Anthony, are the proud parents of two sons, Evan and Alex. In her free time, Dr. Roberts can be found volunteering for various charitable organizations, traveling, or on the pickleball court.
