Julie completed her undergraduate studies at Cumberland University and her graduate studies at Trevecca. Prior to becoming full-time in the Graduate Counseling Program, she served as an adjunct professor. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Prior to coming to Trevecca, Julie worked with children, adolescents and families in agency and private practice settings. Her teaching specialties are couples, crisis theory and interventions and group therapy and process. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her family and her 2 dogs, Bella and Maggie.
