Mark is an adjunct professor in the Christian ministry online degree program and has also taught in the master’s program in organizational leadership. He began his graduate studies in professional counseling at Liberty University and completed a master’s degree in pastoral counseling at Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. He also holds a Doctorate of Education in organizational leadership with a minor in conflict management from NOVA Southeastern University (NSU). He served the Church of the Nazarene as district superintendent of the Central Gulf Coast District Church of the Nazarene, retiring from this position in 2023 after more than 40 years in pastoral ministry. He and his wife Debi reside in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., near their two children and three grandchildren.
