Matt teaches several in-person and online courses for the Millard Reed School of Theology and Christian Ministry at Trevecca. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in interpersonal communications and human relations and a Master of Arts degree, both from Trevecca, as well as a Doctor of Ministry degree from South University. He has served in varying pastoral roles in Florida and Michigan, and is the lead pastor at Hermitage Church of the Nazarene. Matt and his wife, Keri, live in Nashville and have two daughters, three sons and three grandchildren.
