After completing her undergraduate education at Trevecca, Mindy started her career as a middle school math teacher in Clarksville, TN and completed her master's degree at Austin Peay State University. After moving back to Nashville, she worked at Vanderbilt doing research in the School of Education as a project coordinator and pursued her Ph.D. while there. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Mindy came to Trevecca to teach in the School of Education and spent many years teaching a variety of math, science and research classes as well as statistics, which is the focus of her current work. She teaches in Trevecca's doctoral programs and oversees students' statistical analyses during their dissertation process. She also does statistics consulting for the Metro Action Commission and Trevecca's School of Education, among others.
Mindy met her husband, who is also a Trevecca professor, while they were undergraduates at Trevecca. Together they have 3 children.
