Scott teaches finance and economics. His studies at the University of Rochester (Ph.D. and M.A.), Indiana University (MBA) and the University of Southern California (B.S.) focused on corporate finance and economic policy. This included fiscal policy, monetary policy and the regulation of business, especially financial services. He has previously taught at The Master’s University, East Texas Baptist University, the University of Missouri, Texas A&M University and the University of Rochester. Prior to his career as an educator, he worked as a consultant for the world’s largest consulting firm. He also worked for two banks as a cash management consultant. He has presented papers at conferences and has been published in Policy Studies Journal. His honors include Beta Gamma Sigma (national business honor society), Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, and the Excellence in Teaching Award for Trevecca’s MSM/MBA Program. Scott lives near Nashville with his wife and their children.
