Ty has been involved in training for the past 30 years with experience in the areas of operations management, project management, computer systems and software development. Ty's experience in consulting and leadership in computer systems and information technology has provided a cross-sectional view of the business of operations management and the application of technology to industry. Having worked in the healthcare industry and having achieved the master informatics and information management degree, Ty has developed an understanding of the application of technology to the healthcare industry as well. The current concerns for security in all areas of business has driven Ty to seek certifications and expand his knowledge of a view of cybersecurity to operations and healthcare industries. Finally, having been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Scrum Master has allowed for a long-term involvement in the development of projects to support the application of technology to resolving business needs.
