Wesley Neely joined the Trevecca security team after retiring as a Lieutenant with the Mt. Juliet Police Department, concluding a distinguished 37-year career in law enforcement. Throughout his tenure, he held key leadership roles with patrol, K9 operations, investigations, training, and professional development. A certified firearms and tactical instructor, Neely has trained officers in active shooter response and critical asset risk management. He is a veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard and the founder of S.A.F.E. LLC, a security consulting firm. Neely is also actively involved in veteran and first responder support organizations, including the Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project and CrossRoads Mission Care.
