Maintenance Technician – Full-time, Monday-Friday

Summary

We are searching for skilled a general maintenance worker to perform basic upkeep tasks, including plumbing and appliance repairs, changing HVAC filters, replacing blinds, and overall general maintenance. You will be required to apply basic fixes to multiple building systems and equipment to ensure that the facility is tidy and runs smoothly.

Skills

• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot and address maintenance opportunities that may be out of schedule
• Experience in general maintenance and have a rudimentary technical knowledge of equipment such as a working knowledge of HVAC systems
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Ability to interact professionally with both staff and visitors.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
• Ability to operate efficiently and safely small, medium, and heavy equipment and tools including but not limited to power tools and hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, screw drivers etc.
• Ability to responsibly use and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Climb ladders.

Education

Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work outside year-round in inclement weather conditions such as extreme high/low temperatures, snow, and rain conditions. Must be able to work on his or her feet for extended periods of time and have the ability to bend, stoop, and extend oneself etc., as required for performing assigned tasks. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
