Admission Requirements

Trevecca Nazarene University assesses the Master of Arts in corporate learning and talent development applicants based on evidence submitted via application documentation. Applications will be processed upon receipt of all required materials. To be admitted into the program, an applicant must meet these requirements:

  • Submit an online application.
  • Have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. All hours from regionally accredited institutions will be considered in calculating the cumulative GPA. Applicants must submit one official transcript from the college or university where the bachelor's degree was conferred.

Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification

The curriculum of this master's program aligns with the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification, so learning outcomes are directly tied to the competencies and knowledge areas outlined by the Association for Talent Development (ATD). By focusing on detailed content areas such as instructional design, training delivery and learning technologies—coupled with foundational subjects like leadership, change management and performance improvement—the program prepares students thoroughly for the APTD certification exam.

This certification not only enhances the employability of graduates but also deepens their professional credibility and mastery in the field, providing them with a distinct competitive edge in the job market.
